It is fantastic that Noah gets you out of your comfort zone to try new dishes! (I’m sure you do the same for him in other areas) but what I enjoy reading is your new experiences and willingness to explore the world and its vast variety of cultures & foods. You have opened my eyes to this exceptional culinary art!

I have to say that he really does and I do too haha. We're a great match for one another when it comes to adventure :) I'm so glad that I was able to share this VERY unique and interesting experience and that you enjoyed learning about it! You'll have to let me know if you ever try it out for yourself!

Karla, this was a such a fascinating read. Thank you for sharing your experience as well as all that you learned through it. If we run across any places that offer insects on the menu, we will be giving them a try.

I do! Just kidding. Truthfully, I didn't write it to freak people out (though I'll admit I freaked out a little bit too as I was doing research). I wrote it to shed light on something that is actually quite normal for many people around the world and we reject it because of the cultural context we grow up in.
